EXAMINATION OF A PANDEMIC

Loneliness affects both mental and physical health, it can also result in a decreased desire for social interaction. At the same time it can also increase creativity or the necessity to fill up the void left by spending time in isolation.

This project was more a need to fulfill than an idea to express. Hence the title “examination of a pandemic”.

As a visual artist, I just observe.

I watched people around me, living in the society they have created.

How do we react to a worldwide pandemic?

Well, it was a funny show for me to witness.

I analysed people changing their social activities and behaviors. Their actions, their words, their current beliefs. What I ended up with is a sarcastic viewpoint of our human species. Sorry, not sorry.

This is not a provocation but more a personal reflection which I hope will be taken with a big smile… And of course, a drop of hand sanitizer.
