Cristina Bevilacqua is the photographer and owner of THE PHOTO CORNER. She is a vivacious, positive, half-Greek and half-Italian pocket rocket who is passionate about visual storytelling and people.
Since finishing a Diploma of Photo Imaging in Brisbane over ten years ago, her photography work has taken her to many places around Australia and Europe. Cristina is also an accomplished underwater photographer, having worked for six years on diving vessels in the Great Barrier Reef. She is now based in tropical Cairns but has not stopped flying around the globe with her camera.
Cristina’s work is raw, honest and intuitive, capturing people’s essence one frame at a time. With portrait photography among her specialties, she has a vast, diverse portfolio featuring nostalgic dreamscapes and feminine, highly emotive images.
Working with Cristina can be fun and therapeutic at the same time. Her bubbly personality and quirky jokes will make you feel at ease in a second. She holds a safe space for everyone in front of her lens. She takes the time to discuss creative ideas and inspiration. Cristina’s focus is to allow people to feel truly themselves, not only creating high-quality imagery, but also a memorable experience for her clients.
