Cristina Bevilacqua is the photographer and owner of THE PHOTO CORNER. She is a vivacious, positive, half-Greek and half-Italian pocket rocket who is passionate about visual storytelling and people. Since finishing a Diploma of Photo Imaging in Brisbane over ten years ago, her photography work has taken her to many places around Australia and Europe. Cristina is also an accomplished underwater photographer, having worked for six years on diving vessels in the Great Barrier Reef. She is now based in tropical Cairns but has not stopped flying around the globe with her camera. Cristina’s work is raw, honest and intuitive, capturing people’s essence one frame at a time. With portrait photography among her specialties, she has a vast, diverse portfolio featuring nostalgic dreamscapes and feminine, highly emotive images. Working with Cristina can be fun and therapeutic at the same time. Her bubbly personality and quirky jokes will make you feel at ease in a second. She holds a safe space for everyone in front of her lens. She takes the time to discuss creative ideas and inspiration. Join Cristina Bevilacqua for a 6-week photography programme designed to build your confidence behind the camera and ignite your artistic vision. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers a fun, hands-on experience in a supportive environment. What you’ll learn:

This programme is available in May/June or November/December each Wednesday of each week at 6 pm for 6 weeks. Workshop classes are 3hr long with the last 30 minutes open to Q&A discussion. You can bring your DSLR camera, compact camera, or just your phone. Your own laptop with Lightroom software is required for the post-production training. A minimum of 4 students is required to have a workshop confirmed. Deposits are essential to confirm your commitment to the course and are not refundable. Weekly payment plans available. The workshop cost is $800 per individual.
